The Truth About Lies, And The Lies About Truth
The truth about lies and the people who convey lies are plain and simple.
Truth is engraved in stone, and cannot be changed. It will remain the same until the end
of time and beyond. Unable to be altered in any way and as reliable as the sun rises and sets,
and the seasons come and go. While it may appear illusive at times, it always shows itself
one way or another. For it cannot stay hidden forever. Any attempt to keep it hidden is a lie in itself.
Lies on the other hand constantly change as time goes on, and never support all the circumstances
in any given situation. Generally because the person, or persons speaking the lies, are not able
to see the whole picture, like the one seeking the truth. It is like putting a puzzle together of a
sunset over the ocean, and someone hands you a piece to a brick house. Which one is truly deceived?
The ambassadors of lies run and hide their faces, avoiding the ones seeking the truth.
Stifling their conscience, and trying to prevent lies on top of lies, because they are never sure what
exactly they have said before. They also never know how much of the truth the one, whom they are
trying to deceive, knows. In addition, are blinded to the fact that when truth be known to the offended
person that was led on a treasure hunt. Due to the deception of others, regardless of whether
or not they played any part in the initial offense, will receive little, if any mercy from the offended.
Moreover, often suffer the same wrath imposed on the perpetrator by the offended. So be it,
when the puzzle is complete, and truth reveals itself. Evil begets evil, and good begets good.
How truthful have you been? What part, if any, have you played in distorting the truth?
Has your silence contributed to keeping the truth hidden? Will the day come in your life
when you will need to depend on others for the truth?
If so, I pray the favor will be return, one-way or the other.
